How to Discern Spirits - Benevolent vs Harmful - Chapter 3 of We Are Portals
A reptilian spirit teaches me how to discern between spirits who would do us harm and those who are of noble character.

Discerning of Spirits
I was at a friend’s house listening to music, then a vision opened within me…
I saw an entirely metallic room, it was silver colored with a pedestal in its center. On the pedestal was a glowing yellow ball. The ball reminded me of a globe with what appeared to be lightning bolts inside of it which I had seen in a science museum. The globe was made up of many tiny bolts of yellow lightning moving throughout the entire area of the sphere. Some bolts moved through the center of the sphere, others roughly followed the round shape of its exterior creating the shape that I saw.
Then, I saw a creature standing next to the pedestal. His body was entirely black and he was muscular. His face looked somewhat like a bull or a dragon, he had horns that came straight off either side of his head, curled around and went straight again, each horn had “seams” every few inches which glowed an intense red. These wrapped around his horns like the threads on a screw. The creature had a huge, broad tail that rested behind and off to one side of his legs. About 3-4 feet of which dragged behind him on the floor. His bulk was similar to a crocodile but he stood upright on his hind feet like a human.
At the end of his fingers were nails that seemed halfway between a fingernail and a claw. They were long, pointed and very thick. They reminded me of depictions I have seen of evil hags in movies. But they were colored either a reddish-black, or a deep eggplant purple...I wasn’t quite sure which.
He could have intimidated me, and I was surprised at how I felt neither threat nor evil in his presence. So I decided to study him… I wanted to see if his form would change or what else might happen. After a few moments, he looked the same as before and was still doing something with the electric sphere.
“Do you serve Yahweh?” I asked.
“Yes,” he replied. Turning his hulking head toward me.
“Who is Yeshua, did he come in the flesh and die?” I asked having trouble remembering how exactly we are supposed to test spirits…
“Ah, that is the question,” he said with a coy smile and a pause of suspense. “But yes.”
“So what are you?” I asked.
“Remember how one third of the angels left heaven with Lucifer? Well, there are many types of angels and more than one type went with him, some species lost only a few, others lost most of their kind. Lucifer was able to corrupt many of his own type.”
That makes sense. I thought to myself.
“Most of my kind left,” and his voice filled with sadness as his head dropped. “Many humans who have seen my type have met those that have turned, so they think that we are demons. You humans simplify things too much, thinking that demons and angels are different types, but in truth nearly every species has creatures on both sides of the war. You need to find other ways to distinguish between who is who.”
He then looked me straight in the face. “Look at me.”
I looked into his face, studying it.
“Do I look twisted, or gruesome to you?”
“No,” I answered. “Intimidating, yes, but not broken in any way.”
“Exactly,” he replied. “Evil is full of sickness and depravity, those are the markers to look for to distinguish between the wicked and the noble.”
It must be hard for him. I thought as I found myself wondering how many people he had been able to successfully interact with thus far.
Not long after that, the vision faded…
How To Check Spirits
This dive happened before I met my spiritual mentor. I have since learned from him (and his decades of deliverance work) that you can test any spirit by asking them to stand in the light and blood of Christ.
If a spirit is aligned with the light, they will not mind this “formality.” In fact, this action only serves to empower them further. If however they are not in alignment with the light, these spiritual substances will often chase the spirit away or harm it. I have seen some evil spirits disintegrate or suffer something akin to burns from these substances.
If you are ever unsure about interacting with a spirit or want to check their alignment this practice is simple and highly effective.

Interesting article indeed! Spirits/ entity's/ beings from other dimensions filter in and out of our consciousness and can often appear in dreams.... mediation etc.
Last year a reptilian appeared in my dream.. i was in a kitchen and heard knock on the door. Beyound the house / outside was a courtyard and shops.. . This reptilian had a humanoid form... scales.. a few feet of tail... stood upright and had sort of a 'frog' type face with large sharp teeth . I opened the door.. it was on a catch/ chain. I assumed it was a male. I was on the telephone... 'He' wanted to borrow a phone... i replied " sorry i can't... I'm using it " He went off into a nearby shop and all of a sudden the shop went dark.. flashing lights and smashing of things.
In the 90s Spirit said to me to always ask those who draw near .. things like . 'Do you come in the name of love and Light? Is your purpose to share and recieve truth in God's name?
